Rythium Certified Discovery Manager

Learn to run discovery in Rythium Software & IT Asset Manager. You will troubleshoot issues and produce accurate deployment inventory reports.

• First half: the product, what to discover, the Discovery Satellite and Agent, network ports, agentless scans of Windows, Linux and SNMP devices, troubleshooting and installing an agent.
• Second half: vCenter, vSphere and Xen Server discovery, Oracle Database, options and WebLogic discovery, unmatched server and software reports, normalizing raw data, vendor reports, Java and EXE scanning, software metering and troubleshooting reports (DNS, RPC, access).

Duration: one day, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with three breaks of 15, 30 and 15 minutes. Fee: Rs. 35,000 per participant. A practitioner certification is given on completion.

Rythium Certified Software Asset Manager

This course is for new IT asset managers and other IT staff who work in budgeting, finance, licensing, contracts or planning. The first half covers software asset management principles. The second half covers how to run Rythium’s Software Asset Manager on real cases.

• Day 1: IT asset management and SAM, SAM key process areas, licensing basics, licensing models for on-premise and cloud, licensing metrics, compliance management, documentation management, license audits and compliance audits on the cloud.
• Day 2: product architecture, what to discover for SAM, conducting discovery, normalizing raw data, deployment inventory reports, contract management, vendor-specific reports, compliance reporting and long-term management of software assets and compliance.

Duration: two days, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, with three breaks of 15, 30 and 15 minutes. Fee: Rs. 45,000 per participant. A CSAM certification is given on completion.

Rythium Certified IT Hardware Asset Manager

This course is for professionals who manage hardware assets, with emphasis on implementing Rythium’s Hardware Asset Management module.

• First half: IT asset management, what to discover for hardware asset management, the Discovery Satellite and Agent, network ports, agentless scans of Windows and Linux, troubleshooting and installing an agent.
• Second half: vCenter, vSphere and Xen Server discovery, unmatched server and software reports, normalizing raw data, deployment inventory reports, contract management for HAM, modelling non-IT assets, barcode tagging, asset allocation, and AMC and consumables inventory management.

Duration: one day, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Fee: Rs. 35,000 per participant. A practitioner certification is given on completion.

Certified Oracle Licensing Practitioner

Rythium’s Oracle licensing and contracts training helps participants manage licenses as Oracle’s rules change, on premise and on the cloud. It covers Oracle Database, options, management packs, Middleware, E-Business Suite, Siebel, Business Intelligence, Identity Management, acquired products and Oracle Cloud. It also covers the Oracle contract documents: the Master Agreement, ordering documents, support policy, distribution agreements, audit notices, ULA and PULA. Course format

All courses are instructor led and live on Zoom. Training materials are sent in soft copy before the course starts. The Discovery, SAM and HAM courses include a live demonstration of Rythium Software & IT Asset Manager. In the Oracle courses the tool is used to show reporting methods.
