What is discovered in Agentless Discovery?
Rythium’s Discovery Satellite searches the network and discovers all assets – compute hardware, software installed, SNMP devices, hosts for virtualized environments, virtual machines. These could be on the cloud or on-premise. All of this is done through agentless discovery.
Windows, Linux, Unix, MAC, Hyper-Visors like VMware ESXi, XenServer, OVM, KVM, AHV, Hyper-V are all discovered.
What is discovered in Agent-Based discovery?
For those customers who might prefer an agent to be deployed on compute resources, we have the Rythium Discovery Agent. This agent gets deployed on the Windows end-point and regularly sends back data to the Rythium server. Apart from all the information regarding hardware & software installed, the agent also provides details of application log-ins.
