We read software contracts for a living – from your side of the table
Rythium Technologies started as India's first independent Oracle licensing advisory firm and have grown to be a global leader in the field and also expanding to work on many other publishers.
We exist for one reason: enterprises deserve licensing advice from someone who isn't paid by the vendor selling the licences.
Why we exist
Most licensing “help” is a sales channel in disguise.
The people who usually offer to review your license position are the same people who profit from what they recommend.
Resellers earn margin on what you buy. Vendors want you compliant on their terms. Even many advisors quietly take referral fees. That conflict shapes the advice, whether or not anyone admits it.
Rythium was built to remove the conflict entirely. We take no money from Oracle, Microsoft, or any publisher — only from the clients we advise. That single structural choice is what lets us tell you the uncomfortable thing: that you're over-licensed, that a ULA won't pay off, that the audit finding is beatable, or that the renewal quote is inflated.
We read the fine print, so your budget doesn't get the surprise.
The people
You'll work with the principals — not a hand-off.

Sheshagiri Anegondi
A former Vice-President at Oracle Corporation, Sheshu spent years inside the machine that writes and enforces Oracle's licensing rules. He now uses that knowledge for the client's side of the table.
He is the author of Licensing Oracle, and leads Rythium's advisory engagements personally — from ULA certification to audit defence.

Anil Nahata

Together, the principals keep every engagement senior, independent and accountable to one party only: the client.

What independence buys you
Three things a vendor-funded advisor can't give you.
The honest number
We tell you your real Effective License Position — including when it means you owe nothing, or should buy far less than you were quoted.
The unpopular recommendation
Walk away from a ULA. Refuse a renewal. Move to third-party support. We say it when it's right, because no publisher pays us to say otherwise.
A defence, not a settlement
In an audit, we work to reduce your exposure — not to smooth the path to a purchase order. Our incentives point the same way yours do.
